The Human Rights Campaign works with every branch of the federal government and in all 50 states to ensure that LGBTQ+ issues receive the attention and respect they deserve. Whether it’s lobbying for the passage of pro-equality legislation, monitoring the records of judicial nominees on LGBTQ+ equality, or advocating for fair-minded regulatory changes, HRC works every day to secure full rights, protections and benefits for LGBTQ+ people

Equality Federation

Provides up-to-the-minute tracking of legislation affecting LGBTQ+ People

The Equality Federation works collaboratively on critical non-partisan issues—from advancing workplace fairness & family recognition to defeating anti-transgender bills & HIV criminalization laws—that affect how LGBTQ+ people experience the world from cradle to grave.

Freedom for All Americans

Provides resources including a state legislative tracker which tracks all 2022 legislation related to LGBTQ discrimination, including school policy bills, youth medical care bans, and youth sports bans

Freedom for All Americans is the bipartisan campaign to secure full nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ people nationwide. Their work brings together Republicans and Democrats, businesses large and small, people of faith, and allies from all walks of life to make the case for comprehensive nondiscrimination protections that ensure everyone is treated fairly and equally.

Mission: works to improve the state’s interface w/ the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, & intersex community, identify the needs of its members, & ensuring there is an effective means of advocating for LGBTQ equity in all aspects of state government.

The QLaw Foundation of Washington

Provides resources such as free legal consultations with attorneys and guides to various issues including rights of unsheltered folx, healthcare disparities etc.

Mission: promotes the dignity & respect of LGBTQ+ Washingtonians w/in the legal system through advocacy, education, & legal assistance.
