Importance of Membership
The fulfillment of our purpose requires active involvement from all of you. Your input, participation, and advocacy serve to increase the impact of our mission. Membership in the Washington Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (WA-SAIGE) provides you with updated communications regarding our efforts and an ability to take a more active role in the growth and development of our organization.
Categories of Membership
Student
Individuals who are enrolled at least half-time in a college or university program.
New Professional
Individuals who have graduated from a college or university program within the last 12 months. Renewable up to 2 years post-graduation.
Professional
Individuals who hold an advanced degree (e.g., master’s or doctoral level) in their profession and have been working in the field for two or more years post-graduation.
Retired
Individuals who are retired from their respective profession and have been active members of WA-SAIGE for the past 5 consecutive years.
Member
Individuals who do not fall into one of the other membership categories.
